Rich counts himself fortunate to have successfully worked in casting over the past 18 years, on theatre, TV, film, and new media, both in New York City and Los Angeles. Select film credits include: Remember Me, Warm Bodies, Safe Haven, Youth in Revolt, The Wackness, The Step Up franchise (all 5 films!), Dear John, Cedar Rapids, and No Strings Attached. His most recent film work has been represented in theaters and digital platforms in 2016 by Blunt Force Trauma (Co-Producer) starring Ryan Kwanten, Freida Pinto and Mickey Rourke, Amateur Night starring Jason Biggs, and coming in early 2017, Undercover Grandpa starring James Caan, Jessica Walter and Louis Gossett Jr. and Ashes in the Snow based on the “New York Times” best selling novel Between Shades of Gray, starring Bel Powley and Martin Wallström. He’s cast music videos, short films, and new media projects for both Electronic Arts and Bad Robot, including U2’s music video “Song for Someone” starring Woody Harrelson and Empire of the Sun’s “Alive,” PSAs and commercials for Park Pictures, and consulted for The Park Avenue Armory in NYC on MASSIVE ATTACK v. ADAM CURTIS.
He was hired as a casting producer on Blumhouse TV’s horror competition series pilot, “Hellevator,” and recently cast their 12-episode horror/comedy series “12 Deadly Days” which premiered on YouTube Red in December. Rich lives in Los Angeles and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the National Board of Directors for the Casting Society of America.← BackNext →
